Min & Max Design Studio was founded in 2024 by multimedia projection designer LEE Kuo-Han and dramaturg YANG Kai-Chun.
The studio collaborates extensively with artists across theatre, dance, and music. Deeply engaged with social movements, the studio also works with Taiwanese advocacy groups such as the Taiwan Tongzhi Hotline Association. Its works have been presented at venues including Taipei Artist Village, National Theater and Concert Hall (NTCH), National Taichung Theater (NTT). Additionally, the studio maintains long-term collaborations with institutions such as NTCH, NTT, and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), producing projection works, promotional videos, and AI-based video research.
LEE Kuo-Han received the Award for Multimedia Projection Design at World Stage Design 2022 and the Taishin Arts Award for Performing Arts (2019) for his video design in Chou Shu-Yi’s Break & Break!, and was invited to exhibit at the Prague Quadrennial 2023.
YANG Kai-Chun received the Bronze Remi Award at the 53rd WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival (2020) for his performance direction in the original short drama film The Rooftop. Their collaborative work Man of the Theatre, created with NTCH artist-in-residence Huang Yu-ching & Myan Myan Studio, was shortlisted for the 2023 Taishin Arts Award.
